We’re delighted to announce that we have had been successful in gaining funding from the East Ayrshire Renewable Energy Fund for our two main projects –
Pump track – we have received £4k in funding to commence the design phase of the project. This is a vital stage in completing the Community Asset Transfer, to develop the site at Stranhead Park.

Annick Quiet Road Network – £43k in funding has been awarded to allow us to complete the preliminary assessments required to progress with the project. The routes that form the QRN can be viewed here – Annick QRN Routes

Without the generous funding from the EAC REF we would not have been able to progress to the next stages of these projects. We are tremendoudly grateful for the support they have given to our community projects.
We have also received an update on the Annick Valley Active Travel Route from Ayrshire Roads Alliance (ARA) who ARA are continuing the preliminary work and assessments for the project. ARA have brought in consultants, Stantec, to help guide the next stage. Community engagement meetings will be popping up soon, so keep an eye out — we’ll keep you posted as we hear more.
